I am the biggest procrastinator in the world. THE BIGGEST! I have known about this paper that I need to have written my Wednesday since the day class started, and when do I really start working on it? Yesterday. It's a 6,000 word paper on the architecture in Ancient Babylon during the time of Nebuchadnezzer II. This is not, by any means the easiest thing to write, nor the easiest thing to research, because most of the evidence in the place has eroded away considering all of babylon was built using baked clay bricks. I have about 4,000 words written ranging on everything from Isthars Gate and the gods that were depicted on it and why, to the Southern Palace and hanging gardens. I have most of my information on Ishtar gate, the processional way and the Hanging Gardens, but actual information on the structures and temples within it's walls is really hard to come by, including the tower of babel. All I really have to go by is what's written in the bible on it.
Any help would be appreciated if there's ANYONE at all out there who knows ANYTHING about Babylonian architecture.
